- 1X2 Betting
- A market where you pick one of three possible outcomes: a home win, a draw, or an away win.
- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for a payout.
- Arbitrage Betting
- Placing bets on all possible outcomes with different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of result.
- Asian Handicap
- A point spread that gives a team a fractional advantage or disadvantage to balance the match.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- A feature that lets you combine several markets from a single match into one wager.
- Betting Market
- The set of available wager types offered for a particular event.
- BTTS
- A wager on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event ends, for a predetermined amount.
- Decimal Odds
- A way to express odds as a single number, including the stake; the payout equals odds multiplied by stake.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes, increasing your chance of winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win on the chosen side.
- Edge
- An advantage you have over the bookmaker's odds, often calculated from analysis.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction; the profit is the fraction times the stake.
- Hedging
- Betting on the opposite outcome to reduce risk or lock in a profit after an initial wager.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is already in progress.
- Juice (Vig)
- The commission that bookmakers charge, built into the odds.
- Kelly Criterion
- A formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on perceived edge.
- Lay Bet
- A bet that a particular outcome will NOT happen, typically offered on betting exchanges.
- Moneyline Odds
- Odds expressed as a positive or negative number indicating how much you win on a 100-unit bet.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored will be more or less than a set number.
- Pre-Match Betting
- Placing bets on a match before it officially starts.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a particular bet.
- Value Bet
- A selection where the odds offered are higher than the true probability, giving an expected profit.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must turnover a bonus or free bet before withdrawing winnings.
